EDUCATION FOR THE YOUTH

Making Education a Primary Source

In this program, we are collecting of all the youth who want to continue their education towards secondary school. Here at Diaspora Works of Mercy, we believe that through education we build the ability to change the world. By handing out school supplies and even building our own school, in many provinces, for the low income, we can see a bright future for the children of Burundi. Not only will we educate them but we will also have activities for the kids from sport games to forming leadership clubs for the youth to learn how to be the change of the FUTURE!

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Creating High Effective Sources for Women

We see every challenge as an opportunity, and this initiative helps us ensure that women and young girls are better prepared to manage the unique situations they find themselves in and have equality with men. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our female community and delivers the support they need when they need it.

BENEFITS FOR THE ELDERLY

Providing Care to Those in Need of Care

Burundi is a largely rural country, a reason that may lead to health risks towards the elderly. With this program, we want to have medical care for the elderly and start a senior home service, where they can receive at home assistance they need since their age has limited their way of doing normal activities.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY| BURUNDI

Sheltering the UNsheltered

Habitat for Humanity is one of our exciting projects where we can build homes for those in need of shelters. Ever since Civil War of Burundi and Natural Disasters, many people have been sleeping outside no matter the circumstances. In this project, we plan on owning a piece of land where all of the homes will be built, sort of like a community sector.

ORPHANAGE CARE

Parenting the Children Who Have Lost Theirs

Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve taking the place of parents to aid these children. We evaluate our success in this field by collecting contributions and using those items to care for young children struggling to survive without their parents.
